    Discussion Onboard On/Off Switches

Before I switched to Jeti radios, all I used were Fromeco switches and never had an issue Since switching to Jeti, I have used the magnetic switches and found them to work as described. They can be tempermental on magnet position, but once you figure out the positioning, they work well I...

    Idea! Avatar Update

Funny you should mention the 200. I am using a 30 x 13evo 3 blade on my 180 on the 330lx that weighs 43 lbs dry and it will pull through a double snap on a vertical upline and keeps on going. I have had a couple judges ask me why I don't apply throttle until I am in the uplines and I tell them...

    Idea! Avatar Update

That would have been a while ago :) 2 3dhs 330lx's, one blue scheme and one red. The blue one is gone to a new owner, but the red one has served me well for the last 3 years. I am currently assembling a Dalton from PAU. It has a ZDZ 195 on it with JMB cannisters. Should be very interesting to...

Sorry @HRRC Flyer, I only had Futaba when I was flying small glow. I was flying Airtronics for a long time and now fly Jeti. I have a friend with an 18MZ that has setup many muluple servo aileron and rudder planes I can try to pick his brain for you and see what he has to say

Thank you, but I can't take credit for the build, it is one of the last Daltons from PAU. I just put together the extras :-)

Same here! I missed having time to just chill and see what is going on. Hoping to be here more often this year. Maybe even post some pictures from IMAC contests :)

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

That is an interesting idea. I can probably understand why some people didn't like the scheme. It turned black when the sun started going down and could be a pita to see :) Still loved it though :)

Now for a little more progress on the Dalton. Finished up the negative pressure lip with a final coat of epoxy. Looks pretty good in my book :) I am also adding pictures of the finished baffling on the Dalton. Yes, it is 1/8" ply. I will be needing weight up front due to the plane being setup...

One more of the Edge. A collage of an aileron roll taken by my daughter :)

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I had the 42% version of this Edge. Thanks to a snapped prop hub in a knife edge at about 6 feet off the deck, it is no longer with me :( Sad sad day. That plane was an awesome flying machine. Wish they still made that scheme.

    Idea! Avatar Update

I will usually update my avatar when the new IMAC sequences come out. This year I am moving to Advanced, so I grabbed one of the more difficult maneuvers for my avatar. That way, when I am online I am reminded that I have to practice more :)

    Discussion My friend and yours...

Thank you Rob! It has been one hell of a year, to say the least. Hopefully things will settle down this year and I will be able to frequent the site AND more IMAC contests more this year :) I left my full time job and was pulling RV's from the factories to dealers. $1.37/mile sounds great until...

    A little perplexed with 3W

I used to run a Mejzlick 32x10 on my old 3W TOC 150 and it loved it! What a beast of an engine :)
