    Dating back more years than I want to admit is the concern of how to cover the Cub in the window area. Knowing now the shrinkage, the thread shedding when i cut and wanting a single piece per side my concern is turning into worry.

    My son is all into forging type of metal working. He picked up a big anvil and a piece of railroad iron. Both are HEAVY.

    I think Natty Lite qualifies………. I keep cheap beer around for chili. Open a can a few days early and the malt will enhance the chili.

    I added a piece of balsa to my scissors to create a buffer while I trimmed the covering. It works well.

    5 minutes of softening the Poly Tak with mek and the damaged top piece removed easily. Another 15 minutes and a new piece was underway.

    Second wing half covered. The Poly Span shrinkage is incredible. Shrink to whatever tautness you need......
