    I bought the contest sheeting on a sale from National Balsa, I think it was 25 sheets for $99. Not bad considering they currently show 3" x 1/8" x 36" at $9.02 ea and the 48" long is $13.62! I would have loved to have 48" sheets!

    The gear on my 1/3 scale Super Cub was assembled from parts in the kit and was silver brazed using a propane torch. I can take a photo of the plans if you like if you wanted to scale it own. Wing looks great.

    Pulled the trigger for the avionics package, FrSky RB25 redundancy bus and three R6 receivers. A receiver will be mounted in each wing tip and one in the vertical fin. Thought I would buy these now before the tariffs kick in, the prices are unchanged currently.

    Vacuum makes the glue foam more rigorously. If you think clamping is good, vacuum is way better, it makes the little bubbles in the foam bigger. I roll the glue on the skins and sprayed the outer surface of the skins with ammonia to help the bend. How would you handle the the carbon tissue?

    Hey I found a 20 yard roll of 3/4 ounce glass in the rafters with the carbon tissue that I didn't know a had. Need to do a few test pieces to determine what glass i will use the glass the wings, .56, .75.or 1.5. each wing is about 1 1/4 square yard. Don't forget the vacuum.

    The left wing is ready for skins, the right inner panel need the third rib installed and then it can be married to the outer panel. Will start gluing skins today, have some business to take care of so I don't expect to get too far but who knows?
