Added the Multiplex MULTIlight kit to my FunCub XL the past couple of nights. Only added a couple of ounces and it works off of the flight pack, the best part is the lights are switchable from the tx: landing lights on/off, and all lights on/off :) Scale functions too:

The basic white baby socks also work well, just use a velcro strap to secure them: https://www.amazon.com/Luvable-Friends-Socks-White-Months/dp/B00RC3AZYE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1518033584&sr=8-5&keywords=white+baby+socks

I'm not sure how many of you were able to see this but we SoCal residents were treated to a rare phenomenon early this morning: a Super Blue Blood Moon. According to the trusty old reliable internet, this only happens once every 150 years. Guess it was worth getting up at 5:30 to see it :oblong:

Help! What size tank for 50cc Yak54

This is the fuel tank you will need: http://www.taildraggerrc.com/new-tdrc-version-2-17-ounce-rtf-clear-fuel-tank/ Throw out the tubing that comes with it for the clunk and use real genuine Tygon tubing. Also don't use zip ties to secure the fuel line, use a small slice of tygon.

Well no airplane work tonight thankfully :D But I decided to put factory cruise control in my van :oblong: Had to make a bracket to mount the cruise control servo but otherwise the install went good :) Put a repop factory cruise control equipped turn signal stalk up in the cab and everything...

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017

My girlfriend picked up a UMX Timber and we set about flying it this weekend. I had the SAFE mode turned on for her and she did great, despite its tiny size in comparison to her Multiplex Heron. It's a fun little airplane for sure :) I also flew my GB Extra 330SC indoor edition. Such a...

Since it uses Android OS and has WiFi built in you should be able to take a picture of your airplane with your Android phone and send it to the Tx via Wi-Fi Direct.

There's 2 carbs they have put on the DA120- the vast majority of us just have the stock carburetor because it works fine. Only in certain rare cases do they swap out the carb for a different model, wouldn't worry about it. You can get the J&A from Extreme Flight...

Don't settle for anything less than the DA120. If you need more power in your 35% airplane then the only conclusion I see is you built your airplane too heavy :confused::oblong::p My 120 on J&A mufflers rips my Falcon 28x9.5 on the uplines and yanks my Laser around like it's not even there.

Yes, saw the 215, it's really a military drone engine that can work in model airplanes too. It weighs over 10lb but is designed to run at WOT for 10,000 hours continuously, if they can shave off 2lb then it'd be a killer engine especially with 20hp at the tap. No word of a 135, they do have 2...

It's quite intricate but flies absolutely amazing. Tonight I hope to start getting servos fitted and get the top of the fuselage glued in place, along with the rudder. If I did that my late grandmother would come back from the dead to kick my rear :eek::confused::oblong: So I've heard...

Been building another GB Extra 330. Only managed to glue it to the granite countertops twice this time :oblong: So used to working with Depron or Elapor, not used to the thin CA wicking completely through the EPP.
