Mini Review Cyclone Hobbies Portable Charging System and Lets Here from you!

As a guy who flies 100% electric planes, having a convenient way to charge up flight packs at the field is always an issue. Over the past few years, guys have started to make custom charging cases with power supplies, paraboards, and chargers all wrapped up in a suitcase for use at the field...

    3DHS 62" Osiris

both of those questions could take up 20 pages in this forum :D basically, for connectors use what you are comfortable. if you like deans, they are great. there are also lots of other options, such as ec3, ec5, power poles, bullet connectors, and a ton more. most if not all are very capable...

    3DHS 62" Osiris

yeah dude dont worry about checking the incidence, it is pre-set into the jig at the factory and into the laser cut parts. i dont know if it is 0, i heard somewhere (i think) that not all 3dhs planes have 0 incidence, but whatever it is its on purpose. just go fly :D the 62 is one awesome bird

    Crazy boat race

i assume its one of those things where they run the course a ton in practice and then the nav guy is there just to yell things out one turn in advance, similar to rally racing

most of the time, yes. it is also nice to be able to reprogram center point, deadband, and overall rotation of the servo spline. not necessary, but its nice to have the option.

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

http://www.GiantScaleNews.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75280 hitec has come out (probably about 1 or 2 years ago) that the 7955 is HV compatable (same specs as the 7954) and yes, the hitec is programmable, the savox is not

3DHS New Products and General Plane Info/Help for Fanatics

it really upsets me how they steal designs...there have been numerous examples of botch covering schemes blatantly stolen from 3dhs, which are arron's custom designs. its sad and dissapointing. Without hobbyking, the electric field never would have taken off the way it did. unfortunately, they...

Should we create an 3D competition in the 50" to 74" Class?

i really like this idea, and i think it could be a lot of fun. it would be nice to be in a competition, which gives you something to work towards, but also have a realistic chance to win/place in

Should we create an 3D competition in the 50" to 74" Class?

i think with the recent advances in the 57-64" class, there is not a huge difference in air presence compared to a 30cc plane. not to mention there is not a big price different between the two either. also the 30cc class is rediculously popular. i love the idea of not allowing 50cc as that is a...

    72" Extra 330SC

my 65 vyper had the same thing happen, was a major PITA to fix. I think in hindsight i should have read the directions in order and done the control horns before gluing in the joiner, wouldve saved some major headaches

i agree, the 48 edge needs to stay light. i wouldnt fly it with anything heavier than a 3s2200, but thats just me.
