DLG is the #1 most addictive aspect of the hobby that there is. It's so much fun. It is a challenge, but man it's very addictive. I'm hoping to compete this summer for F3K flying (DLG thermalling)! And yes DLGs can do 3D as well guys, check this out...

So I got my Futaba 8FG Super today in the mail, and I'd like to share what I posted on the other forum - a couple of my first thoughts and reactions. 1. Yes it is true. The 8FG feels solid and a lot better than my DX6i. It's very thin and a good weight as well. VERY comfortable. In fact, it...

Not a big fan of F3A flying, pattern or whatever it's called  I've got another offer for an FPV setup. I should be able to make $150 off of this one... That bumps it up to $370ish. I've heard that there's some motor from HobbyPartz that does equally as well as the Omega 130...

Only had one "profit" from an FPV setup so far, I only built one... I'm getting back into DLG and got a kit with that money. Thanks :) I don't think I'll end up with the balsa 48 though, it's more money than I'll be able to make. Either way, whatever I build with be epic, sooo.. ;)...

I got $50. I got $55 all together from my other relatives for my birthday, and adding that to the $110 that I made from YouTube, I made about $220. Still not close at all to the $500 mark. Not sure what I'm going to do about that ;) :) Dan

Alright I'll see... probably go with those for the ailerons like you suggested, then the MGs on the rudder/elevator. We'll see if I buy the 48 first though... :) Dan

It wasn't just to solder, it was the effort that went into it to reduce noise from the ESC by making shorter leads, and I was going to put on a torroid ring on there was well, but that's not needed because of the LC filter. It's more than just soldering. Not to mention that the vTX, antennas...
