    I think I'm on my 5th or 6th EPP edge, they have all been torn up due to multipoint unscheduled landings, I've never managed to tear one up in the air. The EPP will flex/twist a bit at higher speeds though, I think you'll be much happier with the balsa edge if you do a lot of high energy type...
