    Luckily, the amount of balsa, CA, plans and covering needed may only be $60 to $80. Scratchbuilding is much cheaper than buying kits :)

    Check out the stevens aero Edge 540 or Cap 232. 50in. WS and fully 3D capable. Just pricey at $190 a kit :eek: BTW you would be able to do some nice uplines and downlines and rifle rollers with the firestorm, not just circle flying.

    That's really cool but $135? I could get a similar thing ARF for $150.........I wish kits were cheaper. I would absolutely LOVE to see 3DHS sell a few smaller planes (42 slick, 48 edge) as kits for maybe 25% off.

    Well I have built a few guillows kits and scratch built a few planes. So I have a bit of experience working with balsa :) flying skills, not an issue. Good god I love how that plane looks.

    On a more positive note, I have registered at rc scale model building forums and I will use it as a resource to see balsa construction techniques to help me on my balsa crack yak-based build. :) if anyone has some pics of their planes without covering id appreciate if you could post them :).

    Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Steve, I pretty much get a stomachache after every meal with any sort of food with gluten. Had a bunch of fruit salad, and a steak. Nothing..... EDIT: just had dinner, beef pot roast soup and a piece of bread. Instant stomacheache :(

    Yup :) bad news guys.........I might have celiac disease. Every time for the past 3 weeks I've eaten bread or pasta I get a really bad stomach ache. I might have to get tested for it...my mom's sister has it and my grandma does too.......

    But what's the point of wire gear when I land perfectly? Lol. Hey plank is the edge precise? The reason I was steering aways from it at one point was because it didnt seem to draw very good lines.
