A question about wheel pant installation. On the side of the pant that has been cut for the axle to fit into it. It has to be opened up so I can get the wheel pant on the axle as it won't fit as it. Also, do I have to open it up enough so the wheel pant fits flush against the landing gear...

Kevin I see you have the 40cc with the small plugs. How much clearance is there b/t the cowl and the plug boot? Do you think the 40cc with the CM6 angled plugs will fit?

I used the 7955's but just swithed to Savox. I had no problems with the 55's. I like the idea of going 7.2 volts so I don't have to run a regulator, that one of reasons I switched. I reseached a bunch of forums and people had good feed back. A guy of FG sells them for a good price...

All the control surfaces are glued and hinged and the tail wheel is installed. . I fuel proofed the motor box and glued all the exposed areas I could get too. I'm going to wait to install the VVRC 40cc because I'm on the waiting list for the DA35cc and rumor has it shipping will be...

FEDEX sent me notification the 40CC is on the way. Savox servos, servo extensions, Fromeco Wolverine are all enroute. Sounds like it's time to start the build. :bouncy:

The manual calls out for two 36" extensions for the stab servos and two 12" extensions for the aileron servos. No mention of the throttle servo extension probably because it depends where you install it.

I finally pulled the plug on the rest of the accessories I need to complete the build: Tonight I'm going to order five SAVOX 1270TG and I'll run them at 7.4 volts so I can get the 487.00in oz of torque. Also, I orderd five SWB servo arms (four @ 1.5 in and one 3.5 for the rudder). Servo...

Thanks. I ordered the 40cc angled plug version. Getting the Fourtitude tank, going with Futaba 9157's for the control surfaces. Yeah, way overkill but I'll move them to the EF 91" Extra when I'm done with this one.

Another question comes to mind! Will the 40cc engine with the straight plugs clear the cowl? I ordered the motor with the angled plugs; however, if the straight plugs clear the cowl, I'd go with that configuration because the spark plugs are so much easier to find.

My 78" EF is scheduled to arrive next week. I'm going to use the Valley View Twin 40cc to haul the mail. :flyer: I'd like to buy a Fourtitude Tank for it but I'm not sure what size to get with the 40cc engine? I hear it's a thirsty engine. Do you have any suggestions?
