Guess my buddy and I weren't trying to spend enough money to get good treatment. Like I said before, neither of us was looking for anything large. You know it wasn't really the price that was so bad....just the attitude of all the sellers there. like they just couldn't be bothered, or "take it or leave it" . Most popular size battery is 2200 mah 3S, with a 14X7 Apc or Xoar. Stock spinner isn't the greatest fit on the 14X7 props.- rcguy1958

The supplied nylon wing bolts with the slick are 5MM...but some guys are still having problems with them breaking. Like I said, I haven't flown mine yet so couldn't tell you first hand. Some guys went Hitec...some went with the new power digitals that EP Buddy had.....seems more went with the Solar 654's http://www.hobbypartz.com/33p-solarservo-d654.html 34.75 oz's of torque @ 6.0 volts, .10 sec. to 60*...super strong and quiet. I'm sure they had more than 3 of each, and should restock quickly. Gyro, the Omega130 with a 14 X 7 prop has been a great choice in both the Edge & the slick, quite a few guys using it. The most popular choice has been the Sunny Sky 2820-920KV with a 14 X 7 prop. Makes just a little more power...- rcguy1958

Man my thought process is getting weak...just thought of something else. When I built mine, I installed blind nuts in the fire wall and used 3mm socket head screws to hold my motor mount to the firewall instead of the wood screws supplied..so far I'm the only one who's done that. One bit of info on both the Slick and the Edge. the one negative on both planes so far seems to be the landing gear mount. Seems the nylon bolts they chose are either too small, or too brittle. Some guys are breaking them more often then others. Groovejet is trying to come up with a wire setup...- rcguy1958

When I ordered mine from best value it said " 3 in stock"......6 other guys said they ordered and it still said " 3 in stock".
