I have a dx9 so the setup will pretty much be the same so Cool try what I did if you don't like it swap it back. The only one I haven't really tested out is the 142 to 150 EPA . With both starting at 150. This idea got started by me asking if high EPA on throttle could improve anything ...

What Tx? I tell you a trick I just learned myself a few weeks ago. That helps both low and mid throttle response .Instead of using trim or jumping right in to a curve I adjust my end points. I first adjust my end points to 100 low and 125 on the high. You can play with this. Both at 150 or...

I'm running 8.4 volts on the ones in the pic. I'm pretty sure they will handle more , like 10 volts but you would have a regulator to get something between 8.4 and 12.6 I flew the one in the pics night before last and every time I would punch throttle or go WOT the lights would dim. Was fun...

I plug into the balance plug of the flight pack on this . On my bigger planes I'm using tail lights also and using a buck converter . The lights on the one in the pics is way overkill LOL. They are 30-50cc lights. I burned out ones I originally made up for this one. They were really bright too...

Well I had some packs that weren't puffed at all but did have some slight roundness . After sitting in the fridge the roundness is gone. The IR reads the same as before. I just recently started doing the fridge after reading some stuff that Joe Smith had posted of a multi-year study of lipos In...

I have been keeping my warm like we talked about before but lately it seems that I haven't been able to plan flights like I normally do. So it's been straight from the fridge to the plane. They do get some heat in between but I think they take longer to fully warm in the middle cells since they...

Here lately 35 degrees has been nice flying weather. After work until dark I flew. Last time I checked it was around 17 degrees and that was about a hr before dark. When the sun went down behind the hills it dropped even more. Normal 5-6 minute flight was lasting about 3 minutes before...
