    IMAC Extreme Flight 78" Extra

Use Hysol epoxy for your hinges and control horns as recommended above. It has a long curing time and a long set time. You don't have to be in a rush and you will have plenty of time to move things around if they don't look right. Buy the Hysol applicator gun. You can poke the nozzle right down...

At the first Don Lowe Masters, Earl flew Matt Chapmans full size Cap and the Great Planes 33% rc plane right beside him thru a full aerobatic routine.

    Sealing hinge gaps

Interesting subject. I purchased a number of Giant Scale ARF's from one manufacturer (distributor) who always emphasized sealing the hinge gap in their manuals. I had occasion to talk with one of their designers at the first Don Lowe Masters. He was an invitational pilot competing at the...

IMAC practice tips for new pilots.

Go to Judging School------Go to Judging Scholl---Go to Judging School. I flew almost a whole year in Basic before I found out I was loosing half of my points flying the horizontal line prior to the next maneuver. If your going to score well, you have to know what you are being judged on.

    general IMAC questions

I'm just happy that I have eliminated the constant flow of servos going back and forth between me and my servo vendor. Since they replaced a lot of my servos with new ones, I'm sure they're happy as well.

Thanks wfield0455. I'm still considering the purchase of this radio and I want to be sure it can create this set-up.

    general IMAC questions

There has been a lot of experimenting with the size and shape of ailerons over the last couple of years with just as many pro and con views on what is the best. I have the ailerons on my 42% planes split into three sections. I did this primarily to over come the problem I have had so much...

    IMAC trimming question (s)

First off, Peter Goldsmith wrote a trimming process that for many, is the "Gold Standard" for trimming out precision aerobatic planes. I'm pretty sure it's on the IMAC web site but I'm not sure where. It would be well worth your while to seek it out and use it. Next, I personally am a staunch...

    42% electronics

I use a single Futaba 14 channel receiver with the Smart-Fly Micro Expander. This a nice compact unit that plugs directly into the receiver with heavy gauge wire to the battery plugs. This set up can be used with LiIons or LiPos powering HV servos. I also use the Tech-Aero IBEC which eliminates...

    jeti DS 16 thread

Question; I have split ailerons on all of my planes. On the 42% planes the ailerons are split into three sections. I use the two outboard sections to fly most of the time. I have the aileron option of using all Three Sections or just the Two Outboard Sections can be selected on a two...

    jeti DS 16 thread

I've been looking at the Jeti radio and it's pretty impressive. I'd like to hear from some of those who have them. I'm especially interested in whatever programing support there is out there.
