    sorry Gyro to see you've had a rough maiden day. I've never seen anyone having problems with the pull-pull rudder wire like this before. Good to know. Hope you can fix it soon.

    Danielph, thank you for your input. You are right, I thought it was too much and too close to the stab so changed it to 1" (i did not have 1.25 " and really wanted to fly!) and maidened it that way. works very nicely. However, I think 1.25 is much better for more aggressive throws and manuvers...

    but I don't see any spec on this engine. is it a good fit for edge92 cowl? is it too heavy causing CG problems? whats the hp on this engine compared to da 60? I was hoping someone had already used it or considered it for edge, to give me more info about 70twin. thanks.

    wow. lots of choices. I've been thinking about getting an Edge 92 but I got myself involved with laser 60 last year. I think this year I might do edge92 , and may be for the first time I might go gas!! my gas knowledge is extremely poor though, so I have to read a lot before I start this process.

    Delivery to maiden time: 8/30/13-1/5/14. Thanks for the all the help here during the build process. I did the maiden today followed by 2 more flights. flawless, few clicks to trim. Perfect plane. feld comfortable immediately.

    The horns on the rudder are as close to the hinge as possible. I think might fly it for a time or two and see how it works. mild turns/big ridius should be ok.

    No. I went through all of the hardware stores in town the whole day and eventually tried the best size and strength spring for this; I am pretty sure I cant go any tighter than this. still only half of rudder input is getting barely transmitted.
