    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Skip the 78 if you are going to be upgrading for IMAC. You can fly and do well with a small airplane but if you are going to upgrade from a 60" airplane a 104 or 91 is a big enough jump to really make it worth it. Earle is a really great guy, also on the World's team for Intermediate. He...

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Thanks guys. If there is a question that I could help with that I have not answered then shoot me a PM and I'll try to get to it. I have not delved into the IMAC thread yet because there is just so much info and it will take me a while to get everybody what they need but I will try to get to...

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

Beaver. The Laser should be light and it rolls so fast you will want to fly it when you can see it clearly. The Beaver can take the extra weight better and is a better night flyer.

    New Here? Introduce yourself!

Definitely. We need more plane content on the show and there is plenty of info and people to draw from here if needed. I set up my 450 with the Brain and that thing is just awesome. It really makes setup a breeze and very enjoyable, and the heli flies incredible with it.

Extreme Flight 88" Edge -- now with EXP sized horizontal stabs

That looks awesome. Planes with zero graphics always look bland to me but I agree about going minimalist. Very tasteful!

    What's on your bench?

A picture was posted and then hastily redacted at one point in the past.

    What's on your bench?

Twisted prototype. This one is US made depron but the final product will of course be super stiff and light and tough EPP. We're breaking the mold again :)

Extreme Flight RC 91" Yak 54 build

FWIW I have been using a 5495 for a while on my throttles. In fact, I had the same one on my PAU for two years, then it was moved into my 104. However, I have killed several throttle servos of different quality levels by installing them right on the motor box with a short pushrod. From now on...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

I was running the Aeronaut on the Extra for a while. It's faster and pulls a bit harder than the Xoar; it has a wider blade. It's also a bit heavier, but not as much as an APC. The Xoar gives a little bit better flight time, spools up quicker, has plenty of power, (but not as much as the...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Thanks guys! I always ran the 15x8 on my MXS and loved it. I might try a 16x7 at some point on the Laser to get a bit more pull and a little quicker roll at low speed.
