    Best 50cc Airframe Around

The old Ford vs Chevy discussion. OK, I'll go first. I have a RedwingRC Yak 55 and an Aero-Works Edge 540. Both are 50cc ships. The Yak is cheaper and comes with CF gear, wing tube, control arms and tail wheel. CF is an upgrade on the Edge. The hardware package on the Aero-Works is awesome...

    RedwingRC 50cc 330sc Build Log!

Mike - I used them on my 50cc RedwingRC Yak 55 and they work great. No issues at all. I highly recommend using blue thread lock on all of the nuts/bolts though.

I still see daylight.... :flyer: Nice job Xpress. Had a guy at the field do a low flyby with a 35cc P-51. Actually hit the prop on the ground and splintered it. He was able to pitch up, drop the gear and still land it on the runway with the engine running. If it had been me, I would...

You are a better man than I Xpress. That arrogant SOB on the other forum is exactly why that forum has such a bad reputation. "I don't see why this thread is so long, harriers are basic maneuvers". The OP felt compelled to ask, if the jerk didn't like the question, he could troll elsewhere...

Shameless Plug Follows!!! Mike - Feel free to move this if it should go somewhere else. AMA Today comes out tomorrow. (8/6) A very very good friend of mine is the subject of the Member Spotlight column. Tom and I go back some 10 years. One day he was driving to a woodworking (how we met)...

You're good to go then. I have a 7x14 with 6'6" headroom that I tow with a 5.0L F-150. You should be fine.

You have a tow vehicle? If not, skip the trailer and get a used van. That is what one of the guys at our field did. Nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination but he carries several planes and 2 jets in it. We tease him about creeping around neighborhoods with it offering kids free...

Frontline staff are still doing the daily work but someone has to step back and make sure the products we deliver are still viable and add value to our customers. It is the executive teams that do this planning to ensure the company has a plan to stay relevant years down the road. Here's a...

The company I work for has 4 Business Units (BU) under it. Starting in August we "refresh" each BU's strategic plan for the upcoming year ensuring their plans are in sync with the overall corporate plan. These sessions typically generate initiatives (projects) that will need to be refined and...

Have fun Bipenut. I will be stuck in a strategic planning meeting from 8-5 tomorrow. I would much rather be out there with you.

I went with the DLE 20. Since there is no cowl to deal with, it didn't make much sense to worry about a compact motor (VVRC 21) or a rear exhaust ( DLE 20ra)

Redwing 50 YAK wing servo support triangle blocks

luvdabipes - I have the same 50cc YAK and decided to mount the servos vertically and not use the plates. (Thank you RedwingRC for the option to do this) I just felt it made for a stronger install. The ailerons on this thing are HUGE and I really didn't trust the thin plate and small screws to...
