Right now without lipo's installed, the CG is about 1" in front of the tube, which makes it slightly nose heavy. I'm confident once I add the lipo's right behind the tube, CG will be perfect. If not, then we can shift around the packs till we find the sweet spot.

Yea, this one is jammed pack with stuff. Gary wanted it all in this one, should be a lot of fun and the power board is really cool with all its features. I would like to use this board in the next 35% I build.

Installed the power box on back of canister tunnel with the included screws and ran all the wiring. Looks messy right now till we get it all programed and setup with the radio, then it will be nice and neat. Board switch Installed Assembled plane to check CG and figure out where Lipos...

Wanted to point out a cool feature that this kit has. The canister tunnel has a removable lower plate that you can or don't have to use. Has covering openings in it you could cut out for air exit or a canister pipe exit. I was going to put the smoke pump in here till I figured out I needed...

Had to get more wire loom so I was able to finish out the tail servo leads. I like to protect these since they can easily rub and cut the wires from vibrations. This plastic loom weighs almost nothing on the scale. The snake skin wrap works great too. Set up the rudder pull pull cables...

Lot or progress yesterday...... Wheels installed. I ALWASY grind a flat spot on the axles where the collars mount, then use red lock tight on the small collar screw. Ive never lost a wheel, this is why. :) Wheel pants done. Kit comes with pre-drilled holes set up for the included blind...

I wanted to mention we will be trying out Redwing RC's RCCSKJ Power Expander on this plane. These look like they will be a great little accessory for any plane. Here are some of the features: Dual battery sharing, evenly regulates the power used from each battery Circuit protection: Ensures...

Also managed to get the main gear installed as well as hinge the rudder. Mounted the axles before I put the gear on. Gear installed, you have to remove the canister compartment cover to attach the bolts and nuts. Good thing I didn't glue mine. ;) Rudder all hinged and done.

Knocked out the elevator servos last night. Made up the servo arms. Nice titanium links Other side... Good full throw.

I think it would work, but I'm going to open two holes under there as well just to be safe. Whatever air comes in, you need double that going out. I'm also going to struggle on how to set up the choke, cant exactly just reach into those small air intakes and pull a lever. :(

Well, the air flow threw this opening would not work since the inner fuse has holes everywhere as well as back towards the end of the tunnel. This will then create to much airflow threw out the inside of the fuse and make the flow worse. As Gary mentioned, the cowl has a built in air exit. There...

Last thing I started last night was setting up the rudder. I epoxied in the control horns on both sides..... More to come......

Got the smoke system installed yesterday. Doing a little research I'm finding that everyone's CG on this plane requires there batteries around the tank area, which wont work for this plane with 2 tanks. So I put the smoke pump up front hoping this will allow me to put the Lipos behind the wing...

I agree, its nice to have this type of cowl attachment. My only complaint is the lower cowl mount holes are not pre-drilled for the screws to go into the blind nuts. I will have to measure those and drill them perfect, but wont be hard to do, just would be nice.

Finished out the aileron servos and links. Set up throttle and throttle servo. Ran fuel line. Installed fuel dot. And set up 4titude gas tank. Next I will set up the smoke system. Ive done a few in the past, but never seen a smoke tank without a fill...

Thanks, but I got it fixed last night. Simply added a washer to space the cowl out some more. Came out much better. Still slightly off, but not to noticeable. Added washers with CA to gap the engine cowl. Still has a good lip for the hatch to slide under
