60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

Clear ultracote is my method of attack... can't even tell its there. easy install. Dchimmi, just try to get it to were you have enough to get no binding. When installing ultracote I open hinge line as much as I could and get it into the angle change.

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

Thats funny I felt the Extra was closer, but I have more time on the 60" Extra then I do the 60" MXS . 48"MXS is also super stable post stall. At 30 flights I'm still on the first date... lol.

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

I've flown the edge, MXS, and the extra and the edge is for sure the most stable post stall, but that not to say the other two are not close. Congrats I really enjoyed this plane... 7245s really make it a different plane.

A gentleman showed up at my flying field with FPV ship with a Hero3 on it... Not much of flying captured, but get a good view of were I fly. I would like to get him to get some close up footage next time. Flying the 71" Slick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyLBGKxF99Q

I also hot glue the connections into the RX, so I kinda need a safety lock on the extensions. Any other alternatives out there... I don't feel like tying dental floss at the field.

    60" Extra 300 EXP

15x8 will give you almost 1400 watts at almost a 2:1 thrust to weight ratio, and should give you respectable flight times with the 2600's. If you are into precision the Extra is definitely a good way to go, and it hangs with the best of them low and slow too.

    60" Extra 300 EXP

It will balance fine with 2600s... my 3300s are at the wing tube for neutral and 2600s aren't to far in front of it with the same setup. It does low and slow fine with the 2600s, but the high energy stuff is better with the 3300s. I run mainly 3000 and 3300s. Your gonna love the 7245s...

I let it go for a couple of weeks and let the climate do its thing then I use a heat gun. But you have to be careful... IMO it does a far better job, since you don't get adhesion from the iron pressure then create more wrinkles to get out.
