    After doing some more reading it does not look like these are actual Laws yet. And the FAA can not enforce them yet.

    I do not know about you guys, But I do not think there is any reason to make someone get a full scale pilots licence to fly an multirotor and take video and sell it. That would kill the new industry before it ever gets off the ground. They should just have a class or two you have to take on...

    I think it should not happen. That is just asking for trouble. You will get a bunch of people flying these who are not in the hobby and have no clue what they are doing.

    That is what I am wondering also. we have several small privately owed airstrips around our field. I guess we will just have to wait and see if we get any phone calls.

    I know this is something our club needs to discuss immediately. We being in Ohio have airports everywhere. So our club field falls in the 5 mile range of some local small airports. For now we are going to just keep flying until told otherwise.

    Not sure about the edge, but I know the 57'' extra battery tray is fairly weak. I am certain it would not support the extra weight of a 6-cell pack. I am hoping they are improving the motorbox and battery tray on the 60'' yak.

    You should never bring a balsa plane down with no throttle. trust me on that LOL.

    +1, though 3dhs 60'' birds are setup around a 4-cell pack. so you would want the 714kv wind. I am going to try one of those Geckos next time I need an esc.
