    Small steps... My [correct] arms showed up in the mail so I got the airleron's put together last night. On my DX-8 I pushed the travel to 130% each way -- wow! I'll measure the angles later when it is all put together, but I was amazed at the travel, and the speed of the travel. Amazing...

    No pictures, but I got my elevator all hinged up, control horn installed and gap sealed in prep for the monster Savox servos that should show up in a few days. Installed my throttle servo HS-5495BH but no linkage yet until the da-60 shows up. Installed the fuel dot on the left hand side...

    New rudder servo came in the mail. I picked the Hitec HS-7956 mostly because it looks cool. The specs are good but dang, it just looks cool. My daughter picked up on that too :) This is the spot in the Yak that they made for the rudder servo: ...and my new piece of ply to epoxy...

    Gyro - I meant to say the rudder servo tray. They include an extra piece of lite ply that you epoxy on top of the cross member to add strength. I'm not too sure I'm even going to add anything there... we'll see. The servo should show up in the mail today.

    A few planes ago my wife was watching me try to cut out the Pilot-X face-shield. She said "why don't you just color it in". Nice. Instead of cutting the plastic and gluing it together, try using a thick black permeant marker to just color it in. It works great and takes about three minutes.

    ATTENTION SMALL CAR OWNERS! It is most likely you can fit this 91" plane in your car. Without the stabs attached or the canopy on, it fit no problem. That's the good news of the day. Bad news is I have to go fly my MXS until parts show up on Tuesday :) Should have the monster rudder...
