    I did a lot of research and searching for the best ESC, and ZTW fit the bill on all levels. I had purchased a CC Phoenix 100a Esc on ebay, but I will not be using it anytime soon...

    Yeah I wish I had gotten the 120A and used an external BEC with RX Battery because I had to bypass the internal BEC on my 125A and add RX battery to get my plane to balance properly with CG.

    Yeah I actually found a chat on the subject just a minute a go, and someone said you can use a short extension, disable the red wire on the extension to preserve the ESC for future use. Thanks for your response, Michael

    Hey guys got a plane finished, but I need to run an External RX pack to get the plane balanced. How does one disable the internal BEC? Its the Gecko 125A. The manual says it runs 5v on default but doesn't say how to turn it off. Thanks Michael
