The BS that went on at NALL on Friday Night

Problem with "common sense" is that it is not all that common! You might think that a high speed approach towards the pits is a problem, but the schmohawk who thinks he is better than others or his plane is well built will not see any problem.

GSN Product Review - The Soloshot2 Robotic Cameraman!

That could make some sense, yes, thanks. I was hoping for a more easy to get in and out solution. With the tape, I'd have to remove the tape and get a new piece every time I want to use it. So if I'm at the field for a day, and everyone wants me to video their plane, it's more of a hassle. I...

GSN Product Review - The Soloshot2 Robotic Cameraman!

OK, let's talk about how you're setting the tag in/on your plane. The strap it comes with is a bit unwieldy. You could set it in the fuse with Velcro. That should be good for electrics, but the vibrations of a nitro/gas plane make the tag go bonkers and switch from Standby to Record. How...

GSN Product Review - The Soloshot2 Robotic Cameraman!

Actually, you can't mount it under a canopy until AFTER it's warmed up and paired with the base, isn't that right? Also, please confirm or correct me on this, but once it's warmed up, you walk it around the 50 steps, then pair it with the base, you can move it from plane to plane without having...

SOLOSHOT2: Get The Perfect RC Video of Your Plane In Flight By Yourself!

Tried it today. Placed it on a tray in the fuselage with some velcro. At first, when the pilot revved the engine, the tag would switch from ready to standby. (In otherwords, the camera would stop and start.) Is that a regular problem with gas planes? Should I mount it on some foam to absorb...

GSN Product Review - The Soloshot2 Robotic Cameraman!

Good stuff. Does the tag need to be exterior? Trying to figure out how/where to mount it on the plane. Landing gear?

SOLOSHOT2: Get The Perfect RC Video of Your Plane In Flight By Yourself!

Power cord? Are you talking about the cord that controls the camera zoom? Also, how are you mounting the Tag on the plane? I'm thinking to wrap it around a landing gear.
