Extreme Flight 60" Yak -54 Sneak Peek!!!

I had too much fun with my Yak and ground the top off the rudder completely off on the runway! The plane is just way to easy to get crazy with..... in fact, so easy that you forget you can tear it up. Either that or I was having so much fun I didn't care. If course, now that I can't get a...

Thanks so much for the kind words. I don't always know what I am doing though! That's why I have back up planes! But, yeah, I would love to fly one. I'm sure it's just a bigger, better, smoother and more solid version of the 48 and 60, which are dam good air[lanes in their own right. You...

I'm sure if you wrote to Desert Aircraft Australia they would b e happy to pull the lid off and snap a picture for you. If it's the same scheme as the 48 and 60, it will be a beautiful plane. I have always just loved this plane. Personally a 74" plane is too big for me, but if it does indeed...

Isn't it the same scheme as the 48 and the 60? Someone posted a picture of it on RCH, but I can't find it. Either that or I am simply mistaken. I will try to find out, but Extreme Flight is moving their warehouse right now and communication is spotty.

    60" Extra 300 EXP

I just finished building another 60" Extra EXP. I did not miss the old one too much because I was having so much fun with the 64" MXS, but after flying the new one I don't know how I lived without it! You can read about it here............... 60" Extra EXP__Just Like Old Times 60" Extra EXP...

I've had a big couple of months with my various Edges. Please visit my blog and read all about it. In August I built a new Edge for Edge EXP__Testing: Hi Tec's New HS5070MH Servos , and that was an eye opening project. I think we will all be flying 7.4 volt servos in our 48" planes before too...

4000mah on a 48" plane? That's a very heavy battery for that plane. How far are you from SPARKS? Maybe youy can bring it by some time and let me take a look at it. Something is not quite right if you have to fly it that nose heavy.

Trim the plane at full throttle and I believe that will cure a lot of things. If that doesn't work, add some lead to the nose. Sometimes they just come out tail heavy, especially if you are running an HS85MG on the elevator. I balance mine so that they drop a little when I roll them over...

Thanks! I've been flying the yak a lot and I think this is the most underrated 48" plane on the market. It took me some time to figure the plane out, but now I just love it. Most of the EXPs are pretty similar and the differences in flight characteristics are subtle. The Yak is it's own...

I live on a peninsula, so there is almost always a wind of some sort. In the summer we get that late afternoon shower about 4pm every day and it's always preceded by pretty gusty conditions. Thanks......... I think. I've been flying EXPs for going on four years pretty soon, and they are...
