Joe must be cutting those by hand. Just cuz that's how he rolls.

What kinda prop and exhaust are you going to run on that bad boy? Can't wait to maiden my MXS, I may have to try to sneak out some day after work next week otherwise it will be after Easter. After several flights on my Extra it's driving me nuts how a rigid foam plane will act with that many pony's.:face-palm:

For now I'm running mufflers, but I want to go to cans eventually. I have a Falcon 31-12 and 33-11W... also a Mejzlik 32-10. I really like the Falcon 31-12... hope it works on this motor.

LOL, it's going to eat that thing up at your elevation. Rip will be instantaneous when you want it to. I'm at just over 1500ft with 32x11w the rip is instant but is very controllable. 39# + fuel and it hovers just over idle, maybe 1/4 throttle.

Damn I'm hungry
I say this with a chuckle in my voice.........The boys at the field where talking "engines at Perry" and of course "The Best" was boasted as 3W, DA, DLE. A Chinaman ( who I suspect was DLE rep or Dong Lin himself) who they called "Frank" conquered to the boasting.

Obviously these fellas don't get out much. I asked them "what about ZDZ and MVVS?" I just got a bunch of blank faces :blank:.
Oh! and not to mention GP.

But here is my take........I have never seen ANY engine hover a 40 center like that 180. And I have seen MVVS 116 hover a forty center at just above half stick. I think we got us a new "King of the mountain" with the ZDZ. People just don't know it yet :epic:.

My 112 has been a sweet engine for the past Summer, lil over 7 gallons but it's still no DA120 (not terribly far behind but looses vertical drags). I just installed some ES pipes and according to the canucks it is spinning equal to more than DA. We'll see in a couple weeks when I get a chance to get it out for some testing. Since the engine is broken in I can tune it without too much worry.
