Peeled the covering back to expose the damage to my Carden cap from its incident yesterday. Nice little crack all the way down the side of the fuse.

Not to worry. You did a great job building it now you get to do a great job repairing it!;). And don't feel bad either.....Most of my OOP's moments result in "I have a set of stabs for sale". And come to think of it......I don't recall ever crashing with the tail first???

You give me to much credit. I only stuffed the plane. Bought it as an arf. My buddy @wecoyote was the second owner and he rebuilt it to its current state after a pretty bad crash.

Carden's have a great rep of being built "strong" Like brick:steamer:houses! I flew a friends 35% Carden Cap with a 3w120 and it weighed 34 pounds but flew like a feather!

Yeah it is built strong but if I were to build it myself I would do this section of the fuse a bit different. It will be fixed in a few days though and be better than ever. Finishing up packing the truck to go camping. Lovely how it will be raining all weekend long. We will see how waterproof the tent is.

Decided to pull the Pilot Extra out of the trailer and go over it, I lost interest a little and wanted to go over it again before I take it out for a good beat down if this rain ever breaks. Pulled the hood found one loose cowl tab and a loose screw on the throttle servo, Not too bad and shes still fairly clean under there.
