Stuff the swervos in my 30% Carden Cap232 got them setup and moving properly. Still need to work on the rudder though. Went with a push pull setup and only had a 1" long servo arm left over so there is no where near enough throw on the rudder.

I worked on my Goblin 570 after going flying yesterday. One step forward two steps back. I went to test fit the battery on the slide in tray so I could see how much room there was behind it for a receiver battery and much to my surprise the 6S 5300's I was planning on running won't fit. They are too tall.:(. The manual says a 60mm tall battery is the biggest you can use. Mine measure 60mm, but even without any Velcro or a strap they wont fit. The beating to my wallet continues!

To ad insult to injury I also discovered that the servo arms I ordered are the wrong length. I had measured the ones that are on it and they're 15mm from the servo screw to the ball link. I looked at the manual and saw 15mm. Well, it turns out what I saw was just for the tail servo, the cyclic uses 16-18mm arms.:msn_slap:

tonight I'm working on fitting the triangle reinforcements for behind the firewall and the 1/8" plywood that closes in the engine box on my 35% Cap. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to rout the standoffs for the engine so it can be mounted tomorrow night. Once the engine is in the right place and the triangle stock is installed I'll be able to get the cowl in place again and finish the engine box. It's going back together nicely so maybe the rest of the airframe will be getting some color soon.

will probably order a new carb this week for the engine and get it cleaned up and ready to go back on.

not the fastest project I've ever worked on but not the slowest either!
