Ok so here's the deal.....This is nothing more than documenting quality, performance and service from a source who's plane is the 'biggest" yet. It is well known this particular source supplies other vendors but we will keep it limited to the "original" source supplier: Peak Models.

I ordered the 32% Extra 330SC on 4/5/15. Will do the unboxing /inspection when it arrives.

I will do the assembly, installation, modifications (if necessary) and maiden. The following is a list of components that will be used;

1) DA70 twin cylinder engine.
2)Pro Flow large canister. (wont fit.....read on.....)
3)DA 2n1 header.( Modified.......read on.....)
4)Falcon 25x8W prop.
5) Blue Bird BLS 3114 servos all surfaces BLS 2209 on throttle.
6)Turnigy Nano Tech 4200mah hard-case Li-Po.
7)PAU No Limitz 4.5 inch fiberglass Ultimate spinner.
8)Smart Fly Ignition regulator/kill system.
9)Futaba R6014FS receiver.
10) Small Black fuel dot.
11) Miracle Black charge switch.
12) H9 Black servo arms.
13) TerryCustoms Motor mount. (Copied his idea...Thanks Terry)

I'm sub'd as long as you stay out the box.

As a matter of fact first update......Received notification with tracking # that "box" has shipped as of 4/7/15.

I just don't know whyyyyyy?????? I have to stay out of the "box"!? I'm really needing to see in that "box" for this thread!:epic:

Was going to pull the trigger on the Yak M55 but the "box" I live in made me have to reconfigure my budget on this one.:face-palm:

Funny thing is the pipes and headers cost more than the airframe.:oblong: I hope it does not fold up like my YS Rocket Ship did!:black-eye:

You may be surprised Kelly, I got a bud who built a FM Extra. I got a pull on it, and was totally shocked how well/true it flew. There are several others in the club, but can only vouch for the extra.

We will see Donnie. I saw that the FM had carbon stringer reinforcement like the newer EF planes. I do like the overall dimension, wing area, and control surfaces of the Peak. Going to find out if it is a "keeper" or not. Here is some Brzillian Fiesta with it...

Update. Exhaust systems are so costly where performance is concerned so I have decided to stay with my first choice and do a
2 in 1 header and large Pro Flow canister. Dave is saying only a hundred or so rpm difference and the weight savings is always a plus. I do not need the all that top end but still want fast acceleration with a big prop and thrust.

Update. I tracked the shipment as it left China and it has been 7 days since ordered. Current tracking shows "no location" or "unable to find" meaning it is in the US customs system. Hopeful to have a box at the door in a couple of days and it's contents looking very much like this picture......

This will be the 4th plane I have ordered from Peak (First one: 50cc v2 Edge 540T. Second one: 30cc v3 SBACH 300. And 3rd: 30cc v3 Edge 540.) Of these the SBACH 300 was a really sturdy airframe but weighed 13.5lbs at take off. My first Edge at 50cc was light at 16.75lbs but the wings flexed excessively. My current 30cc edge is now an awesome flyer on 4stroke glow power but the wing tips had to be removed to get it to fly true. It weighs 11.5lbs. All of my planes are "slightly" heavier cause they all get cans for exhaust.
