I've been out of any hobby for a couple of months with preparing for 2 kids graduating (college and high school) and family from both sides visiting. Some of that was spring cleaning but a lot of landscape improvements, a roof over the deck, kitchen renovations and it's been a busy spring.

Squaring the TM up again tonight. Something to get me back to building.......

I've had this flexible ruler for years and never really used it. Today it comes in handy.

Laying out and test fitting the proskin/G10 skin.

Wow that looks good a lot better than planking it. How thick is it. Also keep us informed how it goes and how easy to work with the product . who is the supplier.

It appears to be G-10, very thin and strong. I might jump over to McMaster Carr and look around. The sheeting came with the Reeves kit, maybe 1/64 thick.

CA glue and clamp according to notes on the plans. I just have the first side glued at moment.

Very annoying trying to wrap the g10 around the fuse. Especially with CA glue...

The biggest issue is/was the different contour at the tail area. A. It's ugly and B. it caused a mess upstream. I may try to separate the problem area and repair or worst case try again with a new sheet.

Other than that the CA glue holds very well.

I got out of that mess easy enough. I peeled back the one side and was able to eliminate the wrinkles and reglue.
