We can arrange something. It's good to know there are some addicts out in your area as I travel alot and often look for travel buddies to the big events. I kinda think if you can handle about any aerobatic plane out there then you can handle my stuff I will just tell ya what to do and what not to do. Like spinning the Bigfoot. Don't let the stories about it scare you because it just requires something different then a slick or extra would to exit it. If you have ever put a cub, warbird, taylor craft or a number of other scale aircraft in a spin they will all exit the same way. Power off center the sticks for a sec and put a touch of opposite rudder in. It will fall out of it every time. As for the production run versions of the Bigfoot we will see when the update birds get here if anything has changed. Ben and I discussed a few changes last night on top of the changes already made with a longer wingspan. Like strut attachments fuse layout and cowling mounts, and door attachments. These kind of things are common with prototyping a plane as you have to start with something and then see what will make it better for the consumer. But yes let's meet up sometime soon and you all can take it up as with anything else I have. The only thing I require is knowing before hand you can fly and not crash something bigger then a nexstar 40. Hehe.

While I'm only moving to San Antonio in a few weeks, I will be visitng Little Rock periodically (2-3 times per year) and would love to coordinate some kind of a get together.

I have thrown a few fly ins and I think we can easily plan something. Ben ha already ask that I organize a fly low so watch for that. Details will be released later.

I'm in for a fly-in!
Happy to offer our club for a site, We are right on I-40 (literally... we have to be careful not to overfly the freeway!)
Have AC power at the field, about 8 dedicated circuits so far with plans to add about 6 more on the other side of the field. Plenty for a good electric fly-in. Biggest problem we would have is parking, we don't have near enough of that for a major fly-in like a fly-low-in, but for a somewhat smaller gathering I would love to offer up as a host field.
www.themarcs.org is our club's site.
And trunk monkey, no worries on the bigfoot! I fly an 89 and 70" birds all the time, and have even successfully pulled a cub out of a spin. Barely. My full scale training is all that saved that bird, when it wouldn't stop like a regular aerobat and was getting lower, I finally did a full scale type spin recovery just like you described and the cub pulled out about 10 feet high. I don't spin cubs anymore if I can help it! That was early in my flying experience with rc though, about 7 years ago with a Great Planes 40 sized cub on a Saito 82.

Yea there are a few ideas I have but finding a place that agrees might be different. I have organized huckfests and for the last several years with great success. I want to do A event at that level but instead of the money (which is thousands of bucks) going to the club, I want it to go to the pilots. How you ask. Well I can get donations as I always have. Then with the money raised dump it back into more products as like a gift certificate. So as the money is increased so does the prizes. We start with he normal stuff and a 50cc turn key like always before and as the day goes on it might turn into 4 or 5 more giant scale arfs or a trailer full of smaller electrics. I will need alot of help though. It is alot of work and we need to find a place to host it that only wants the exposure of hosting it in return and is big enough to have all sizes of aircraft.

Indeed it is. And no lie, he was doing one stick rifle rolling circles at the time. Sadly, he wasn't talented enough to pull his shorts back up while night flying a 104" Slick. That'll teach him to hack my Facebook account ever again, or at least wear a better belt if he does. :D

At least he had boxers on rather than "tighty whiteys".... :D :D

Currently testing approx 84".

I showed everyone how well it recovered from spins at Cape Girardeau, wonder why that didn't make the news?

I don't know...but I really was only joking....I know that if there was any kind of "issue", then it would be taken care of before the plane is released.....

Hit the nail on the head with that one. That is one of the reasons planes take so long to hot production after you hear about them. Some go pretty quick others take some time.
