I'm looking forward to getting my Slicks out on Sunday for NJSwede's visit. Wx forecast is 75, mostly sunny.
I'm positive after him flying my 70" and 89", he'll be buying one shortly.

Well, that makes sense. Are you averaging below zero temps?
What about getting any builds done during the down time?

We're having one of the coldest and longest winters in a long time with record snow fall. The snow came about a month early and hasn't let up. We had a chinook last week with above freezing temps, but it brought 40mph winds with 60mph gusts. Average temp has probably been around -20c (-4f) with it getting down to around -35c (-31f) occasionally. I work outside at night and this winter has really made me wonder why I live here! :cursing: I think I need to move somewhere warmer where I can fly. I used to fly all winter, but I've lost my motivation to torture myself and risk my airplanes anymore.

This winter I'm working on one of the new H9 1/4 Super Cubs with 8" tundra tires and floats. It's not 3D, but I've lost a bunch of places to fly over the past year and the tundra tires and floats will open up a bunch of places to fly. I was hoping to go with the 3DHS Bigfoot, but it's just taken way too long. I gave up after the latest Christmas launch date came and went. I might have waited if there was some reliable info being posted, but info from 3DHS is hard to come by these days.
