Anthony, do you use the castle set rpm gov or are you reallly at 100% like you say?? I use the gov set rpm around what castle says 90-100% for my last idle up.

I use the castle gov at 2800rpm (Idle 2) which puts the ESC at 100.7% and it tells me to put my Idle 2 throttle curve at 100%.

For Idle 1 I have it at 2650rpm and the ESC is at 94% and it tells me to put my Idle 1 curve at 70% (but I hardly ever use Idle 1)

I'm amazed how little the world seemed to care about their Slick copy. There's a guy in Italy that's talking about it on RCG, but that's about it. Maybe despicable behavior simply doesn't pay?

BTW, we need to decide what horrific demise my HK MoneyShot will meet this summer when you get over here, Gary!

Honestly I'm confused about the HK issue and why it causes such turmoil here. As has been described a few times, it's one of the main things that prompted creating this site. It seems a bit odd to me that this site takes such a clear position on copying practices of HK but other copying is seemingly ok. For example the EME 60 is well promoted here and is just as obviously a copy of a DA60 all the way down to having a red reed block spacer. The Skywing plane schemes and construction bear striking similiarities to well known ARF brands here in the US.

Can the owners/moderators of this site better explain the criteria used to determine whether Chinese brand copying gets the support of this site or not? Just curious!

Just to clarify EME isn't a copy of DA. Someone pointed out the differences over on FG. I cant find the post now but definitely not copy. Skywing used a scheme that is based on a full scale plane so they aren't using schemes developed by other ARF manufacturers but scale schemes and their construction is pretty unique.

Not taking any sides but my Skywing is pretty much an exact replica of my 3dhs foamie. Came from the same place Im sure (skywing was given to me as a gift)
