Just finished putting mine together. I'll be using this airframe for FPV. The cCopter fell together the way you would expect from any Twisted product. Everything snaps or screws together and the fit and finish is great. Can't wait to get it in the air!! :ecstatic:

Here is the manual http://www.twistedhobbys.com/media/Crack Tri-Copter_001b.pdf

Had a great morning flying my cCopter. I flew it fpv from the backyard and it was a lot of fun. Lots of trees to dodge and a big hill to play around. I just pulled up a chair, played some music, and took off. The runway/landing pad is really small so landing is quite the challenge but definitely fun.

Now that I can fly it from the backyard the flying won't stop lol. Charging the packs up right now so I can head back out :)

Joe, what kind of flight times are you getting? That looks like a fun platform and great for fpv

I land with 30% after 7 minutes using 3s 2200s.

It's definitely a fun platform for a light fpv setup.

how long did it take you to build it? could you itemize all the parts you used and their cost?

Took a few hours. Most of the time is spent soldering the ESCs together. Everything else just snaps and screws together.

Airframe: $74.99 http://twistedhobbys.com/cCopter-450mm-Tri-Copter-Black-cCopter-450mm-Black.htm

Power combo: $229.99 http://twistedhobbys.com/Power-Pack-450mm-cCopter-Tri-Copter-Power-Pack-450mm-cCopter.htm

Flight control board w/ usb: $42.99 http://twistedhobbys.com/Control-Bo...nd-USB-tool-MultiWii-SE-V25-CB-w-Hardware.htm

1.3ghz Video transmitter: $49.99 http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=11_30_38&products_id=1017

Camera: $45 http://www.securitycamera2000.com/p...WDR-Color-Board-Camera-with-OSD-Menu-DNR.html

Total: $435.96 + shipping
Then you need you ground station. I just use fatshark dominators with 1.3ghz module.

EDIT: forgot filters. You'll need both.
