I'm going to Joe Nall 2018, are you?

Thanks for the input Snoopy, yes there are many planes that are way beyond my model budget. And what you said was just fine. I was more concerned with the hassle of lugging it around. You have reassured me and think I will bring it along. I am always open to constructive criticism, and hope I...

Hi got kind of busy for a while. The plane has a 120 in it. I don't plan on flying this one there as it has not been maiden-ed yet. I want to bring it along to discuss a few things with the designer and see how my building stacks up to his. Is there a display only area there? I am not sure its...

    Bridi Dalotel 84" Engine Recommends

Yes Snoopy it was a pattern plane designed by Hanno Prettner. Able to compete in F3A or IMAC. Checking weights on various engines with the .90 2cycle being lightest at 24oz a Saito 1.8 at 44oz and a VVRC 40cc twin at 46oz. there is a bit of a weight penalty. I am also an old fabric and dope kind...

    Bridi Dalotel 84" Engine Recommends

You may be right. A 40cc twin may very likely not output as much as a 35cc single. My singles run with cans that are giving me 7800 on 18" props.

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

Haven't got it in my hands yet. but looking around it seems to have been produced in the 80s. they used Hanno Prettners plans. It calls for a .91 engine, seems a bit small to me. it has an 84" span. Thinking an RCGF 21cc or 30cc twin. What is your thought on that?
