Does anyone have any experience with these temp sensors

It depends on the thermocouple type, and the thermocouple your telemetry unit expects. If they are same, it will work very well. If not, it may seem to work, but temperatures would need to be calibrated. Different thermocouple types have different temperature curves. On the other hand, just...

A couple of questions on servos

I guessed it was for you. I don't remember ever encountering his self described "prick"-ish humor. :)

A couple of questions on servos

Not sure if that was just for phil, or for me as well, but thanks. I picked some up yesterday. I'm going to keep searching though because it is one of those things I sometimes need, and guess others are in the same boat.

A couple of questions on servos

One other question: Any of you know a source of those servo arm stand offs that come with ball link ends? (Called "spacers" by du-bro)? Cost over a $1 each when you buy the ball ends...

A couple of questions on servos

I did some searching, and Extreme Flight sells 2.6mm for older hitecs, before they switched to futaba style. I have a bunch of RTL fasteners, but I couldn't find any 2.6mm there. http://www.extremeflightrc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=112 EDIT: Ah, but those...

A couple of questions on servos

Thanks guys--the hitec information is good. I'll have to look up JR--since I have been messing with different control arm geometries on my 91", my JR phillips heads are about done.

    3D Shop Construction

Nice shop. I just converted a bedroom in the basement into a workshop. Much smaller, but nice and cool. Someday I hope to have a shop like you're completing.

A couple of questions on servos

Servos for whatever reasons are classified as radio systems right? So I think this is the proper place. Anyway, so, do you guys use the phillips head screws that usually come with servos to mount servo arms to the servo? Or do you get aftermarket hex head bolts? Where do you get them? Do...

IMAC Carden Pro 124 Build, My Dream Plane

By the time I get enough time to build one of these, I'll be too old to fly one. I need to find a different line of work, or something. I know enough to know something like this takes a special kind of skill. I could probably develop it, but I know I don't have it now. But I like these sort...

    2015 "Cornhuckfest", by FBI

I only went to one Iowa huckfest, and really did have a good time. Watching all of those big gas planes for the first time was awesome. Seeing what happened at night was crazy fun (but we were exhausted) I can't make it this year due to work (couldn't make it last year for the same reason)...
