Built family memories this past weekend in Utah. As most know we adopted our little girl back in January. Shortly after we where put in contact with the family in Utah that adopted her older brother. This past weekend we went out for his third birthday and what a treat it was.

A club member had this model generator at our field running all day with very low noise. Very quiet generator.
Bought this to run my camper when off-grid. 3500 watts is more than enough power to run the A/C plus other accessories and it’s very quiet. And only about 100 pounds so the wife and I can load it up without a problem. A friend of mine built some racks so I can haul it on the back of the camper. As long as it last a while I’ll be more than happy with it for the price. Got it for $650.00 with a coupon I found online.

Tail Anchor.

Come on Fellas, get your minds out of the gutter. . . . . . . . :lol2:. The mail man dropped off the Sullivan Tail Anchor I ordered last week.

It's a very well made unit that I really like for the most part. I may need to do something with that black post to make it longer, but I will use it some to see how it works.
Like everything about the unit but the pin in the ground looks short please keep us informed.

David, when you get it out of the package, could you post a few pics of the mechanism that lets the posts fold down.?
Doug,

There is a little "cup" in the bottom of the holder that the vertical pipes fit into. To lower the verticals, you just lift them up an inch or so and lower them to the sides. Of course there are slots ion the verticals for the bolt that goes through them.

Hey Mike,

That's an awesome generator. Especially for that price. . . . . :yesss:. How much fuel did you use?

I epoxied the top of the engine box back on my Extra tonight. I also added some triangle stock to to the top of the firewall. It's obvious why it came off if you look at the picture of the top plate. It's upside-down in the photo and it's clear they had no glue at all on the tabs that lay on top of the sides where all the good glue area is. I still have some clean up to do, but I think it will stay on this time.

Hey Chris,

I was looking at the two pictures before I read what you typed and I was thinking to myself, DANG, those two kids look an awful lot alike. I wonder why?. . . . . . .. You made a memory two families will cherish forever. That is AWESOME my friend. . . . . . :big_yes:
