What, no wheel pants?
Sorry Tony do not have any to install and I build a set of wheel pants many years ago out of balsa and ply, a lot of work and a lot more shaping and sanding. I know someone who is pretty good at building wheel pants LOL.

Wheel pants? You mean those egg shaped things that last one landing?
I never could get them to last more than a few flights, but also the grass at our field is not cut that short because if we did , we long spells of no rain and all the grass would die.

That's where your field needs to be like ours. It's all weeds so even scalping it with the mower in the heat of the summer can't kill it.

Still have not done the maiden on the plane weather has not been the best. Rain or wind, and I am being cautious it took a lot of work to build this plane. Hopefully soon.

My problem is I am allergic to CA. I mean really allergic to it while build a part a few days ago I got frustrated with it started to us CA went great the part was successful but I was really ill that night and the next day and had go to the doctor to help me out.
I have to use wood glue which makes for a totally different assemble, claps and needs to held in place 20 to minutes.

This is a bit of an older post, but I am getting back up to speed with the RC planes as my 66 mustang projects are now done with my boys. I too have the onset of a really bad allergic reaction to the CA glues. Took a while to figure out what was happening. Foam safe CA isn’t too bad, but the CA glue alergic reaction is really debilitating and gives me massive flu like symptoms and makes it hard to breathe. I have been able to get around it, very successfully, by using a painters mask. The 3m P100 organic vapor cartridge filters (60921) does the trick and I have no problems using CA as long as I am wearing the mask. I evacuate the room with fresh air before removing the mask after the glue dries and stops off gassing. Thought I would pass that on.
The build looks great!
