What electrical/switch setup do you use?

Hi all,

Thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has in their models to run the servos and power requirements for their aircraft, if you could post here with the below details and I’ll try to compile the results into a nice table below ;)

  • Model Flight Setup: (IMAC/3D/Freestyle/Casual Etc)

Number of Matched Servos: 0
Petrol or Elec: Petrol
Battery Packs used to power servos: 2 x 1300mah Boomarc LifePO4 Lightweight packs
Switches used to power on: 1 x BoomaRC Wallaby Dual Switch
Safety devices or redundancy devices used: Above Switch has built in redundancy, sent direct to RX, Rxcel Optikil
Electronic Devices used to regulate power: None, power direct through Rx to Servos
Electronic Devices used to separate power: None
Any Additional items used to run your power system: 1 x BoomRC Dual Charge Port

Here is what I have in my two of my biggest planes

Model Flight Setup: 3D
Model Size: 120cc
Number of Servos: 7 Control Surface, 1 Throttle
Number of Matched Servos: 4
Petrol or Elec: Petrol/Gas
Battery Packs used to power servos: 2x Fromeco 2s2600mAh LiIon or 2x 2s2600mAh LiPo rx packs depending on what I have charged
Switches used to power on: one, through the RCCSKJ Power Box from [MENTION=2470]RedwingRC[/MENTION]
Safety devices or redundancy devices used: Tech Aero Opto Kill switch
Electronic Devices used to regulate power: None, however the RCCSKJ can regulate voltage.
Electronic Devices used to separate power: None

My setup is basic as

Extra 260 QBL

5 servos running off a 2100mah life with no switches to a AR8000 rx

8s lipo main packs running Gyro's old Motrolfly.

Basic setup not much to fail
