For exampe this servo torque in oz would be right around 118oz correct?

Yeah, you have to convert the kg/cm to oz/in.....not just the kg to oz. There are a number of conversion links on the Web.

I thought you could just use a Multiplier of 13.8...........

8.5 x 13.8= 117.3 That's what I've been using and it looks to be close give or take.

My 3114's are 31kg and on the box gives both units of measure and it comes out the same ie 427oz.
