Well, I have been waiting and waiting for these to come out. Finally talked to Tim (owner of Redwing RC) and the long awaited 50cc Extra 330sc are going to be on their way! I'm hoping to have mine by the middle of next week so I can get it done in time for the CornHuck!(June 26-29) The following is a list of equipment I will be using along with links as to where they can be purchased.

As soon as the powerbox and servos arrive from Redwing I will post a video on how the board works and why it is something that can help and benifet your set ups.

Depending on the time frame the build could get rushed for the big 4+ day event June 26, so please if I miss something on a post don't be shy and ask anything you need to know about any of the products.

Thanks for watching, happy flying,

I'm eagerly awaiting mine too! Mind if we share a build log or would you prefer to keep them separate?

Nice guys! It might really cool for you guys to share the log. I don't think I've seen that before!

Yes, please share. Chances are mine will be way rushed since it is a must have done by the next 4 day event. So I basically have 2 weeks and a day before I need it finished and the kit is still across that very large pond. Might end up being a 2 day build, 1 day setting all the glue for hinges and such, the next night doing everythng else with a few people helping.

I am super excited. As soon as the electronics and motor show up, I will get some pictures up and I will be studying the power board to answer all questions asked.

Thanks,

Jake

Yes, I was a little excited, been chomping at the bit since Tim told me which now seems like for ever ago. Now that I know it's close I spilled it.

Are you sure about the Life batteries you posted?

I'm not familiar with 9.9v LIFE batteries....?

I did find a link to these:

http://www.redwingrc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=42

Which are the normal 6.6v LIFe batteries that I'm familiar with?

Were you reading the packs upside down? ;)

My guess is he'll be using the 9.9v LiFe batts with the new 11.1v XQ-power servos:
