Hi all. I am currently building a extreme flight 78". I am using a AXI 5330/24 motor with a castle phoenix edge HV 120 esc, 2x 4500 5s batteries.

I'm completely confused about what power box to use and or what batteries "1 or 2" are needed.
I'm using 5 Hitec HS-7955 TG servo's so will need a built in regulator in less I use a cc bec.
the two I've been looking at are the:

powerbox evolution http://www.motorsandrotors.co/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=159
redwing power box yellow/red. http://www.bigplanes.nl/contents/en-uk/d76.html

So my question is, which one and what batteries do I need, and as they say nothing about electric setups only talk about CDI's so can I use them or do I need a simple battery backer safety switch.

last part of my build so help would be greatly appreciated.

No need for all that. I run the CC bec pro and a 7 chanel receiver. The extra power lead is on a Y harness on the rudder servo. Since I have HV servos I could just use 2s lipo as my receiver is good to 10v.

I run 12S on a Motrolfly 4330-206 with the CC HV 80. Batteries are either Glacier 3700 or Revo 4.35 blend 4600 (weight is very close and I need the weight in the nose).

Don't rightly know. Mine looks like this. I tapped in to the low side of the 12S harness (black wire in ESC red wire on jumper). Two power leads to the Rx. uploadfromtaptalk1437344823092.jpguploadfromtaptalk1437344884153.jpg

You do not need a BEC or regulator for the 7955 servos. The HS-7955TG servos are the only servos we have extensively tested here at Hitec and found they can handle the direct voltages of a HV 2s lipo/liion setup without issues.
