Newbie NEAT Fair Event coverage...

Hey folks. I am fairly new to RC, and spend my time building and filming with multirotors. I have been part of an AMA sanctioned flying club here in VT for the past year, and am getting closer and closer to building my own plane.



I am a friend of Bart's from over at the Multirotor forums, so when he mentioned this event - I decided to hop on the motorcycle and head down to the Adirondacks for NEAT Fair. We met up over in Shinhopple, NY (I didn't make that name up!), and spent an evening and the next day roving the rain soaked grounds - meeting all the great folks, shopping the tents and hoping for a break in the weather...



The following are some photos I took at the event. It was great to see pilots both young and old at the flight-line. Despite the challenging weather, some flying was done, and certainly some fun was had by all who attended.

Mostly on Saturday morning. I'll post some more when I get a chance to go through them all.



The rain held off until about 9am - so there were a few hours of flying unencumbered by the downpour
