Push a button, your plane takes off and does it's programmed maneuvers then lands itself. Wouldn't that be cool? You would have to buy a robot to unload/load it from your van though..............

Then the plane sends you a text about how cool the flight was! You can stay home on the couch. What a great hobby.

Look at the difference a lidar makes.

Basically on final approach it uses the lidar for altitude control.
