one of these days.....



what's interesting to me is that if you go to an IAC contest, the real planes have these very thick airfoils with very blunt leading edges. models though have very thin wings and sharp leading edges. i've always kind of wondered why the full scale aerodynamics haven't translated more exactly into the models. the airfoils on a full scale Extra or an Edge don't really look like a traditional symmetrical airfoil.
