2012 Bud Caddell Classic R/C Fly-In & Swap Meet - Oct. 6, 2012 in Ashville, AL
Join our club, the Slasham Valley Irregulars, at our field located on the beautiful 110 acre Caddell estate for a day filled with fun, R/C flying, swapping, and selling.
Event Details:
- AMA membership required to fly
- Open to any type of R/C flying - Sport, Scale, 3D, Jets, Electric, Glow, Gas, etc. (turbine waiver required for turbine powered aircraft)
- Event registration open at 8:00 A.M., Pilot's meeting at 9:00 A.M.
- $15 entry fee includes flying, selling, lunch, and 1 raffle ticket
- Concessions available
- Registered pilot and seller's raffle for prizes
- Limited 110V power available
- No hookups, but RV's, tents, and campers welcome
- 400' well manicured grass runway
- Large lake on the property for float flying, R/C boats, or doing a little "tail dunking" for the 3D guys
