Oh you know I will! It getting the fuel into the carb that takes the time and effort. I think an electric fuel pump would help as well.

No progress on the Cherokee, still finishing up the mods to the Champ. Purchased this 40cc starter kit for an Ephil 40 cc engine that I hope to marry to the Saito 61 TS. Future project, decided over the weekend that I'm getting too to flip these engines.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

No, I think Dhal22 may have. He was talking about Power Box some time ago. I'm using a FrSky X9D 2019 SE radio. Pretty sure I'm the only using an X9d at the scale contests!

Have you tried setting up the rudder opposite during the 2x and 1x green blinking light session and see what happens?

Can you describe what not working properly means in this case? Not powering up, can set it up of communicate or doesn't work as expected, etc.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Having our share of rain here as well plus my aircraft carrier has a leaking head gasket, have the heads off and at the machine shop, hopefully I will have it running for a fun fly next week in Alliance Ohio. Plan to leave the front seat out and hopefully fit the Champ and the Super Cub in.

I would turn the arm 90 degree and make it parallel to the rudder horn and link it to the horn.

Are you leaving the boot cowl on while attaching the covering? I like to get the covering under it.

Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build

Finished making the fairings, etched and primed. The trim tab is also primed ready for color. Trimmed away the overlapping fabric at the trailing edge of the wing, upon inspection the outer edge of the left wing and both edges on the right wing had the same defect although not to the extent...

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

Great day yesterday at the field, 72f, winds light and variable, not a cloud in the sky. Flew four routine sets on the Super Cub, each set takes about 10 minutes. The grass is growing like crazy with the rain we had and extra CO2 in the air! And it was cut on Friday, I could barely see the 5...

Scale RCM 1/3 Scale Champ Build

Doing a little work on the Champ to get ready for upcoming contests. Pulled out the static judging sheets from last year's Fall Classic. Lost 10 point on the craftsmanship section of the judging because of two things that I was aware of. First thing were the wing fairings, when built the...

Found these sanding sticks on Amazon. These work very well sanding the ends of the corrugations. Was trying to sand with my finger but that didn't work very well! The sticks have a flat side and a round side, nice for getting into tight places.

Scale Wendell Hostetler 30% Piper Cherokee Glass Fuselage Build.

The local autobody supply that I normally go to could not decipher the Imron paint code, when a little farther away to a store that sells DuPont products, identified the red code and had them mix a quart of acrylic enamel paint. Still working on the ailerons and flaps, the corrugations are...
