    I use the Frsky receivers in all my planes with a Futaba 12FG. They are good to 10V. I have the 8 ch with 6 digital servos in a 30cc RV8 and the 7 channel in a 78" Extra and 60" Edge both at 8V. The only issue I have ever had was going into failsafe in direct sunlight plugged in on the ground...

    Don't rightly know. Mine looks like this. I tapped in to the low side of the 12S harness (black wire in ESC red wire on jumper). Two power leads to the Rx.

    No need for all that. I run the CC bec pro and a 7 chanel receiver. The extra power lead is on a Y harness on the rudder servo. Since I have HV servos I could just use 2s lipo as my receiver is good to 10v. I run 12S on a Motrolfly 4330-206 with the CC HV 80. Batteries are either Glacier 3700...

    Dang Rich, sorry to hear that. I finally got my extra in the air. I had to swap out the ESC. The first one is going to take a trip to Kansas to see the good folks at Castle. Oh, and I have a short kit for a 78" Yak on the way.
