    I agree with your observations, that company is definitely going through high turnover with nothing but many young kids joining their team. Be interesting to watch what happens :popcorn: For a weight comparison, my RedwingRC 89" Extra 330sc weighs 16.75 dry :)

    AKf, finish your build thread, and upload whatever additional pics into new posts, then we'll merge them. That's the easiest way. We can't insert posts into a thread as they're time stamp controlled.

    That's a very subjective question.... Power is relative to the person's personal taste. Over all the vendors out there, I think only one vendor offers a 50cc plane in the under 16lb category... The lighter the plane, the better the power to weight ratio.

    Help With Motor Timing and Poor Throttle Response (Gecko 120HV)

    As a band aide to you problem, I recommend setting an "idle up" switch, (kinda like a throttle kill on a gasser) that will keep your prop from going to a dead stop in flight. No esc really works well starting a stationary prop in flight... Also, have you flown it yet?
