You can try where my daughter lives she is digging out of 36 inches of snow right now, you could drag the hole plane under the snow.

Well I got her out in the snow this morning. This was my landing. LOL no video though as my möbius has decided to not work after I uploaded the other video last night. Was hoping it was just an issue with the micro sd card so I swapped it out. Same problem with the next one. Best guess now is there is an issue with the new firmware that's on it. Really not gonna be happy if it's dead.

@cbarnes0061 hi there seeing you are the local slab expert I have a question. Have a aeroworks slab plane in a box never built it but after watching you and reading the this forum you have got me interested again. Is this plane worthwhile building or should I build a another.

First question is the the first version of the slab of the newer one? Version one had a bad habit of the motor falling off pretty quickly. No mater which one it is I would do my best to beef up the motor mount area. Unless your gonna go electric then it will prolly be fine. DLE 20 is gonna shake pretty good though. It's not gonna float as well as a lot of the slabs out there and is prolly gonna have some wing rock in HA but I say go for it. It's fuse is not going to be anywhere near as dorkable as a kit built slab is the biggest thing. We run a fiberglass tube down the length of the fuse.

Mind you I have never flown this slab in just going off what I have heard and read about it.

Thanks for the replying it is at least 3 years old which version I do not know. From what you just said I will put an YS 120 on it just have some fun and see what happens. If I smash it or the motor falls of it will be trashed and I will get back to on what to buy thanks again.

Yup yours would be version 1. Bolt the YS up and have fun. Post some pics when you build it. Feel free to put them in this thread.

@cbarnes0061,

I picked up an OLD, NIB Extreme Flight .40 sized Edge profile.

It has 700 square inches of wing and a flying weight of 4-5 lbs.

Do you have a motor, esc, and battery recommendations?

Let me consult with my E power probro specialist and I will get back with you. Or if interested I have an OS46ax with a tuned pipe setup I could loan you.
