I get them from a kite supplier, they seem to be the cheapest I can find. Specs are on their page so you can order with the correct ID / OD to suite your needs. I don't recall exactly which one I have, I bought about 20 of them so I'll be good for a long time. https://goodwinds.com/carbon/pultruded-tubes.html

I actually prefer to make my own pushrods over titanium rods many times. Always a perfect.

I used to do the hollow carbon rods with the 4-40 titanium ends. Very strong and light. But now I'm an old lazy and just use whatever is in the box as long as it wont bend like a noodle.

I did that on a pattern plane. Rods pulled out on an aileron, caused flutter and a crash. Small weight gain for threaded rod coveted by carbon

That happened to a few guys I know of also. But they used CA to glue the rod ends in:face-palm:. I used JB weld. I would not do them with a big gasser. Just a trust factor. I did have success though with smaller planes and even the 30 cc Edge I dumbed thumbed to the dirt:face-palm:.

Terry, sorry if I missed it, where did you get your bonded washers from to mount the stabs? Also, what length screw did you use?
