Welcome to the club! I started messing with heli's a little over a year ago. Airplanes are still my thing, but the helicopters are a blast. I can have fun and be scared to death at the same time.

It is funny how guys you've known for years give you "The look" when they find out you fly helicopters too.

I messed with heli's many times. But this FBL generation is amazing. Less parts, incredible handling. And I can fit a 550 size heli in my bicycle trailer or my 1999 Volvo S80 and go fly!

And yes, almost soiling your pants every 2 minutes is pretty fun. But really for me, flying heli's is helping me fly my big Octos with large cameras hanging off of them feel like a vacation.

I taught myself to fly heli's on a used Trex550e and the sim. Last fall I got a screaming deal on a used but never flown Goblin 570. I really love that thing!

How about making two sections, one for arf build and the other for kit/plan built?

I've always hated the arf assemblies being placed in the build forums. I do both and there is a difference.

Alright Bartman we have some signatures our separation request. How many is needed to get this up in front of the guys at the big house? Ha ha

I definitely agree, one is assembly, the other is building.

I'll take a look at it when I'm back in the office next week and I'll try to come up with a solution. Just got home from a trip and I'm trying to get a few things done (hint, check your email)!!

Thanks for the suggestions. People don't realize, this is the site I run but it's your site (and mine, I fly RC after all, right??) and so I LOVE to hear feedback. I want the site to be awesome and if you guys aren't happy and if you're not hanging with us then what's the point?? If it's not awesome you're not happy and if you're not happy I'm not doing my job. So keep the suggestions coming. I've got a long list of stuff to do now that I'm through the busy holiday flying season.
