Is the pump getting to hot?

Not at all, even running it for the longest periods of time (completely filling or draining the tank).

I'm going to tinker with it for a little bit to see if I can't come up with an improvement to its current design.

Tried to fly it again with the wing missing. Lasted about 15 seconds. Needless to say I'm no Colton Clark who I have seen videos of flying a slab with only one wing.
Then I got my sbach out and was having fun but got a little carried away on my third flight and cartwheeled it. Bent the aluminum fuse tube. Was able to straighten it out over my knee though as she is good as new.

Well I didn't go flying but, I did go take pictures last night of a friend flying his Pawnee that is setup for night flying. Also, got to try out the remote triggering of 2 flashes, one on each side of the runway, that I have been wanting to try for over a year. Needless to say, it was a blast! I know it isn't giant scale but, it is still pretty cool :)

I might also add that it was freakin cold! By the time he finished his 4th battery, my fingers were numb.
